In the event

In the event I don’t get the chance
I’d like to say that I loved the dance

It was fun you know, seeing you there
Full of life, and void of care

I learned so much from what I saw
I tried to emulate without braking the law

I studied every move and tried to learn why
I tried to be “There” when I saw you cry

I’ve taken from you all
The meaning of my call
